Three years ago, York-Simcoe MPP Caroline Mulroney announced that full funding was in place for the Holland Marsh Phosphorus Reduction Project. With the discovery of the invasive and dangerous water soldier plant in Cook’s Bay, getting construction underway on this project is more urgent than ever. Please ask Minister Mulroney and your MPP when construction will get underway and by how much this project will reduce problematic phosphorous pollution that is feeding the growth of water soldier and other problematic species, such as blue-green algae.
