In 2022, the Ford Government promised to begin construction of the  Holland Marsh Phosphorus Recycling Facility.  This facility could play an important role in reducing phosphorous in Lake Simcoe and help prevent toxic blue-green algae blooms.  But construction has still not started despite both federal and provincial funding being in place.  Please contact Ontario Environment Minister Andrea Khanjin and ask her when shovels will be in the ground on this project.
